If in the past people were more reserved regarding sex and intimate relationships, nowadays we can see tips and information about this everywhere: on the internet, at TV, in all kinds of magazines, etc. People are talking about sex without any inhibition and yet we don't know if this is a good or a bad thing. What is for sure is that in the past, the sex was associated with love. Not anymore, since we can see sex anywhere. Is sex such an essential thing? How important is sex in a relationship?


Even if you are a girl or a boy, sex has a huge part in your life. Sometimes it can be all about love and pleasure, but there are cases when it can become a mistake. For example, teenagers or young couples in general who are very hurried in making love. If you don't have the necessary age for a sexual contact, you shouldn't do it. And, even more important than the age, if you're not psychically prepared to begin your sexual life, don't do it just because everybody already did it or because your partner wants to.

Of course, if we ask ourselves how important sex in a relationship is, we'll always notice that it plays an essential role. Sex is the key to a long-term relationship, based on compatibility especially. Specialists say that if a man and a woman get along well in the bed, they'll get along in their daily lives also. And in general, in a mature person's life, sex is very important. But it implies a lot of responsibilities also, such as a possible pregnancy. It's not enough to have a certain age to start your sexual life; you have to take into account what could happen if you're not prepared enough or if you aren't psychically mature for that.

Regarding the opinions that both genders have about how important sex in a relationship is, apparently, they are different. Men think more about sex that women do; for them, starting their sexual life with their partner is almost vital! But in our days, women and men think about sex in an equal measure, although women won't admit this. They ask them selves a lot of questions and they have a lot of hidden thoughts, but they never speak about them in public. They get some answers from their best friends or from a specialist, unlike men, who are talking every day about this subject, no matter where they are. To sum up, sex is important for both men and women, even though some of them don't want to talk about it. They both enjoy it and they both admit it that their private life wouldn't be the same without sex.
